Justice United has received data pertaining to all checkpoints operated by the Orange County Sheriff’s office from June 2014 - June 2016. It appears that the majority of all tickets for driving without a license issued at checkpoints came from only 9 check stops.

We need to learn more about these nine checkpoints - especially what they are nearby. We are assembling teams of leaders to drive out to these locations and survey the area within half a mile of each point.

Please attend the next Policing Action Team meeting on Thursday, September 29, at 7:00 pm to sign up, get on the ground, and help out! We will meet at the UU Congregation of Hillsborough, 1710 Old NC Hwy 10, Hillsborough.
