Description:
The Industrial Areas Foundation is nationally and internationally recognized for the use of community organizing tools to recruit and develop talented leaders and knit communities together for collective action.
Over the course of the training senior IAF organizers will teach what those tools are, how to use them to bring about sustainable community change, and how these same tools can be exercised by clergy and leaders in religious and secular institutions to build more powerful, welcoming, and relational churches, temples, and organizations.
Who Should Attend:
Clergy and top leaders from Orange County Justice United member institutions are invited to participate. We suggest bringing a team of 3-5 leaders who have had some experience with Justice United before (ex: attending actions or Core Team/Introductory training).
Cost:
Tuition is offered free of charge to Justice United members. $150 for those outside Justice United member institutions.
RSVP:
Contact Justice United organizer Devin Ross. (919) 358 5828. [email protected]
