"Heaven Practice" Pulpit Exchange and Picnic
Sunday, Aug. 10: Morning services at each participating church, followed by 1 pm picnic

Justice United congregations are mixing things up a bit as the clergy swap pulpits, giving us a glimpse of what it might be like “when we all get to heaven.” The vision of these churches is to build deep relationships across lines of race that divide our community. Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Bethsada Missionary Baptist Church, and Hillsborough Presbyterian Church will all have their clergy switch pulpits. Whether or not you are a member of one of these churches, you are welcome to attend services at one of them to experience a slice of heaven!

And then come out to the community picnic at 1 pm at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion at 140 E. Margaret Lane in Hillsborough -- all Justice United and community members are welcome!
