At the May 31 Clergy Caucus meeting we will be discussing two proposed issue campaigns that will need the broad support of the Justice United membership:
1) developing affordable housing at St. Paul Village and on publicly owned land, and
2) improving community relationships with local police.
Both proposed campaigns will organize hundreds and secure commitments from top decision makers to make Orange County a better place to live, work, and worship. We will also be presenting a hard money campaign and leadership development goals for your approval.
Please join us so we can shape these campaigns and discern action together.
Who Should Attend: Clergy from JU member institutions or institutions considering membership.
Lunch will be provided. Please email [email protected] with any dietary restrictions ahead of time. To respect your time our meeting will begin at 12:00 pm sharp and will end promptly at 1:30 pm.
Sincerely,
Rev. Richard Edens, United Church of Chapel Hill
