Join Justice United leaders for the initial meeting of the Housing Action Team. The meeting is open to individuals from any JU member institution, or institutions actively discerning membership.
Organizer Devin Ross will lead a training on action, teaching the same organizing universals behind recent campaigns which: reduced $1.3 million in unfair fees and fines for immigrant drivers; won $30,000 annual investment in public transportation for working class communities; improved living conditions in 55 section 8 apartments in Hillsborough.
Time will also be available to create an ad hoc leadership structure and commit to an initial phase of research actions.
