On Tuesday, April 2, 50+ members of our congregations and communities gathered at Hillsborough Presbyterian Church for a relational meeting event. This meeting was designed to strengthen the bonds of trust, reciprocity, and connection between the leaders of our many diverse institutions - and is part of a larger power building strategy to identify and act on countywide issues that we all hold in common.
During our evaluation afterwards, leaders noted the high energy in the room and the presence of several new institutions. The big question was: can we do this again?
At our next Clergy Meeting we will lay out a plan for additional relational meeting events over the late spring and summer, and continue our broader conversation about building countywide power.
