Justice United members stand to gain invaluable inspiration for our own present AND potential future housing organizing. ONE Wake is organizing for Raleigh and Wake County to invest in 2,000 units of affordable housing on 100 acres of public land -- through what will be a 1,000-person action this Saturday!

This model is based on our affiliate Metro IAF network's visionary Nehemiah housing model, that has created over 6,500 units of affordable housing and generated over $2 billion in equity for first-time homeowners, predominantly homeowners of color.

ONE Wake is seeking to create the first Nehemiah housing model in North Carolina -- could Orange could be next?

Our goal is to send a delegation of 20-30 Justice United members, to bring back learnings and inspiration for our work in Orange. Depending on registration numbers, we can provide buses from Hillsborough/Northern Orange/Chapel Hill.

Will you come?
